Madame Alexander doll in original box and tissue paper. She was NEVER played with, so is still "new" after laying in a box for close to 60 years 1963 is my best guesstimate as to her year - based on a lot of online research. But I do not know for sure what year she was made. Also, I think this is an Elise doll , because that is what is written on the box. The original box has "Baby Lynn" stamped on it, but that had been crossed out, and the name Elise was written in pen.

She is a beautiful doll - Caucasian, with light auburn hair, blue eyes (with eyelashes) that close / sleep when laying down, and she has lower lashes that are painted on, as well as painted on eyebrows. Her cheeks and lips are a peachy color. Her arms and legs move straight up and down; they do not bend (she is not jointed).

She has a ribbon and flower in her hair. Her torso is very pale white/pink hard plastic. Her head, arms, and legs are a slightly different color than her torso and not quite as hard.

Her dress is very light pink with a lot of mesh and lace, and underlayers. It has a long ribbon that ties in the back, and the dress has little snaps for closure in the back.

She also has on panties and sheer tights, and satin shoes with heels. The edges of the dress have started to yellow a bit. The back of the dress is tagged with a Madame Alexander tag. She is in the original box that we have for her, and the original peach tissue paper. I put in some white tissue paper to fully cover her in the box as the peach tissue has gotten quite torn.

She could be older than 1963, or newer. I just tried to find the most similar doll that I could find and that is how I decided on 1963.

If this matters to you, please do your own research before purchasing; maybe you will have better luck (or better resources) with finding her. This doll was given to me to sell by a friend who got the doll as a child and was instructed to never play with her which is why she is in such excellent shape. Also, if you have any specific questions please let me know and I would be glad to answer them for you... Or if you want more specific pictures, etc.
