Madame Alexander vintage 17 Polly fashion doll 1965 NWT new hang tag poseable
We offer for your consideration a gently displayed, new vintage with tags, 1965 Madame Alexander 17 Polly doll with her original, slightly bent, hang tag: Polly made in America. She is a vision of beauty, and she is rare; she was only manufactured for the one year in 1965. Even more special is her original hang tag is included. Her hair is still in the original hair style with long dark curls falling below her shoulders. You may want to tame her fly away hairs. Her two tone blue eyes are exquisite and framed by totally intact molded eyelashes. Her cheeks and lips are full and highly blushed. This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to factory fresh as you can find for a 50 year-old doll. Both of her eyes open and close easily and completely. You can see that I did not remove her clothing because her clothing was never removed. I wanted to show her skin tone under her jacket is even and true to the original coloring. Her white blouse is also free of staining from the red of the jacket. The original hang tag is included, but it shows age and wear. She was only rarely removed from her showcase by the original adult collector. The doll was stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. Her arms and legs are still the poseable vinyl plastic and straight from the factory fresh, even after all of these years of display. Her red velvet suit jacket, and the skirt to the dress is fresh, clean, and free of wear or damage. It does not show residue from the velvet deteriorating. Her dress is fresh and crisp with no noticeable sign of age related discoloration. Her coloration is much more bright and blushed than she appears in her photos.
Her panties were never removed; therefore, they still enjoy stretchy elastic. Her velvet shoes are incredible with lovely heels.
She is truly one of a kind in her condition. Her face is colored exactly the same as her torso and arms.
Her lips and cheeks are highly blushed. Enjoy her easy clear and unclouded open and close eyes with complete eyelashes. She is a soft vinyl plastic face doll. Her arms and legs are also a softer vinyl plastic compared to the stiff hard plastic. She shows no damage, chews, stains, marks, or splits. I did not remove her clothing, but I was able to check her over visually. I assure you she is complete and whole.
