Madame Alexander Timeless Beauty Violet Cissy 2008 Le 85 Elizabeth Taylor Doll

It really isn't new but it is from 2008, it has NOT BEEN displayed or even removed from the box but the box has been opened obviously. The stand is fully factory sealed and attached as is the doll. The tissue around the neck is factory placed.

I know the original owner and it was not displayed nor handled. Only opened to view and stored in climate controlled collectors home. Face absolutely stunning as is the coloration of the outfit.

No fading, no odors, no dust, no moisture exposure or any other negative environmental issue. If you have ever wanted the premiere Elizabeth Taylor Alexander doll, and are picky about condition, this doll is for you. Disclosure: The hands are definitely stained from the gloves while the arms are lightly stained. I only checked one arm and hand but assume the other is similar. I did not remove the doll from the liner to check for further staining.

Stunning 21-inch Cissy doll who wears a short, dark brown hairdo and a full-skirted ball gown that has a strapless, heart-shaped bodice with a tuxedo collar. The bodice, with gorgeous micro sequins of purple & black is attached to a multi-layered tulle skirt that follows the same color. Hidden beneath the layers of black and purple tulle lies a yellow petticoat that represents the yellow center of the violet flower.

Worn with the dress is a full-skirted, black opera coat lined with violet silk. Cissy is 21 inches tall and is made of hard plastic. Her entire body and head are the newer style of hard articulated body. 1: I consider boxes, liner and tissue as'free' when purchasing a NRFB doll. While condition of these items are considered; it's not factored into the cost of the doll and outfit.

Boxes, liner and tissue paper may have wrinkles/crinkles/bends/dents and in the case of tissue may even be torn even if the item is NRFB. 2: Staining from wigs and clothing is a fact of doll collecting.
