From the 2000 Modern Doll Convention that was held in Las Vegas (which I attended). Her Certificate of Authenticity says she is from a Limited Edition of 40, but the 40 was crossed out and. Only 20 of these dolls were made. (signed by the Alexander CEO Herb Brown). He also signed the dolls paper wrist tag.
Alexander ID is #30345, as noted on her box. Alex was stored in her box and was.16-inch Alex has a lovely face with green eyes and real eyelashes. She has curly auburn hair (her hairnet was removed for her photos). Alex has a story card that includes a description of her. Her gown is made from satin and taffeta.
Tapestry print cape comes in tones of berry, aubergine and cognac! Alex is wearing dangling earrings and a beaded necklace.Her white petticoat, hosiery, and flashy heels complete her outfit. She also comes with an (unused) Alex doll stand. You may never see another one for sale!
