We offer for your consideration an undisplayed early 1960s, 1961, Madame Alexander 23 untested talking Chatterbox patent pending doll with her displayable box. She is in stunning condition and a real treat to see this doll factory fresh, or close to it. She is from a pet and smoke free home with no odors, issues, or blemishes.
Her skin tone is lovely, and her cheeks are nicely blushed. Her hair appears lile it is still tied up in the factory fresh hair style with the original ribbons. This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to factory fresh as you can find for an almost 60 year-old doll. Both of her bright, sparkling, and unclouded eyes open and close easily and completely. The very long and intact molded eyelashes are pretty paired up with her lashes on the sides of her eyes.
Her eyelids are even pink. Her lips are full, beautiful, and unfaded.
We offer her as she was found. Her talking mechanism is untested. The battery compartment is exceptionally clean.
She has the back "door" to her battery compartment. I could not find the four little screws to hold the back door in place.
It appears the door may overhang on the edges. I do not know how it all matches up in the back. She is truly one of a kind in her condition.
Her face is colored exactly the same as her torso and limbs. Her lips and cheeks are highly blushed. Enjoy her easy clear and unclouded open and close eyes with complete eyelashes. She is a soft vinyl plastic face doll. Her vinyl is clean and free of issues or blemishes. Her head, arms, and legs are all well connected. I did note a little factory flaw of shine on the top of her left thigh. I really did not see it until I really scrutinized her closely. Her dress really covers the place on her leg.
She shows no damage, chews, stains, marks, or splits. I did not remove her clothing, but I was able to check her over visually. I assure you she is complete and whole. Her original (I believe it is original) dress is stunning and displayable; however, it does have one little spot, under her right arm, near the white lace trim on the bottom. The white bright crisp bib collar is just as new as it was when it was made for her. Her socks and shoes are bright and lovely. Please write with any questions. The edges of the box show age and wear. Although the box shows wear, I believe it is still highly displayable. The top of the front of the box has two long creases from side to side. The cardboard neck ring is torn on one side. The inside of the box shows wear, age, scuffs, scrapes, and remnants of tape. Also included is a long ribbon. We know you will feel pleased with adding this doll to your collection.
