Madame Alexander 1992 Queen Elizabeth II NIB Never Removed From Box Coronation
The Madame Alexander 1992 Queen Elizabeth II doll was created in 1992 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's coronation. The doll is an 8-inch variation of the 1954 18-inch Madame Alexander Queen Elizabeth II doll. This doll is New-In-Box, and has never been removed from the box. It is in pristine condition. The box itself shows signs of wear. Madame Alexander created the first doll based on a licensed character - Scarlett O'Hara from the book and movie Gone with the Wind. She was also one of the early creators of mass-produced dolls of living people, with dolls of the Dionne quintuplets in 1936 and a set of 36 Queen Elizabeth II dolls to commemorate the 1953 coronation celebrations in Britain.
