The Madame Alexander 1992 Queen Elizabeth II doll was created in 1992 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's coronation. The doll is an 8-inch variation of the 1954 18-inch Madame Alexander Queen Elizabeth II doll. This doll is New-In-Box, and has never been removed from the box. It is in pristine condition. The box itself shows signs of wear.

Madame Alexander created the first doll based on a licensed character - Scarlett O'Hara from the book and movie Gone with the Wind. She was also one of the early creators of mass-produced dolls of living people, with dolls of the Dionne quintuplets in 1936 and a set of 36 Queen Elizabeth II dolls to commemorate the 1953 coronation celebrations in Britain.
