RARE 20 Madame Alexander VICTORIA Baby Doll with Rooted Hair #5770 NEW IN BOX
This "Victoria" baby doll by Madame Alexander is very rare. She has rooted blond hair! She is new in the original box, complete with the Madame Alexander signature pink tissue paper. She has never been displayed, and was only removed to take pictures. She still retains that sweet "new" smell. By gently raising the bonnet, I determined that the hair is thinly rooted, but I did not untie the bow. Being a long time collector, I have never seen a Victoria with hair before. Typically Victoria dolls come bald, without hair.
The age of the doll is unknown, but most likely from the 1970's - 80's, as the tag is a New York tag, and was made before the manufacturing moved to China. Please view the pictures, zooming in and out, to see the details and specifics of this beautiful doll.
