She is only winter Williamsburg doll who wears a capelet instead of long cape. Frances carries a basket of holly. With its bright red berries and shiny green leaves, holly was Colonial America's favorite ornamental holiday plant.
Frances is in beautiful, mint condition. FRANCES DETAILS: Frances has soft brown eyes, rosy cheeks, and is fully articulated. Her honey blonde hair is dressed with three red roses and pulled into a back bun that still has its hair net on. Frances dark evergreen satin gown has a white stomacher with red bow and a white inset petticoat.
The white satin sections have white roses throughout. Underneath, her gown is lined and she wears white pantyhose-style stockings and dark green velvet slip-on shoes. The dark evergreen velvet capelet is enough to keep her warm in Virginias mild winters.
